General Terms and Conditions for MindfulMe Events

  1. Booking and Registration fees - Bookings will be accepted via the MindfulMe website and via direct enquiry, but places will not be guaranteed until payment is received in full. All participants must pay the registration fee prior to arrival at the venue. Participants are also advised to have a copy of their payment slip just in case they are requested to show proof of the payment on their arrival.

  2. Liability - MindfulMe reserves the right to amend any part of the programme if necessary at any time. MindfulME will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of the event. In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, MindfulME accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by guests. Guests should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

  3. Cancellation - In the unlikely event that the event does not go ahead we will reschedule the event and offer a full refund to those who cannot attend on the new date. If the event is cancelled all participants who have paid will be offered either a credit on a future MindfulMe event (within 12 months of the cancelled one) or a full refund of their registration fee. All refunds must be requested in writing and clearly identify who the refund payment is to be made out to. We accept no responsibility for any other costs incurred by delegates as a result of a event cancellation.

  4. Withdrawls - Should your circumstances mean that you are no longer able to attend you are welcome to transfer your registration to another person (please advise us so that we can amend our records accordingly). If a replacement isn't possible then we will provide you with a refund (less a 15% administration fee), provided that we receive at least 10 days notice prior to the event.  Any less than 10 days notice and we will only be able to provide a 50% refund of your registration fee. No refunds are available for cancellations in the final 48 hours prior to an event or for un-notified non attendance on the day.

  5. Personal Insurance - MindfulME cannot be responsible for healthcare and ambulance services during its events. Therefore, MindfulME and its local co-organisers accept no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or participants however caused or arising.

  6. Privacy - In registering for MindfulME events, relevant details will be incorporated into a participant list.  Normally this information would be - name, surname, company and email address. These details may also be available to parties directly related to the event including the venue provider. MindfulME may use these details to inform current participants of event updates or future events via email. Participants are responsible for advising MindfulME if they do not wish to have their email address included in MindfulME distribution list for future events.
